I have posted this idea before, but I think that someone like Steven Colbert should find a sympathetic ICE professional to talk about how hard the job is and to urge his fellow workers not to wear masks and fall into the "prison guard" mentaliity. Perhaps have Obama on as a guest and talk about how (relatively) less confrontations there were when even more people were deported in his administration. Nothing good can come of treating ICE as if they were the SS so thoroughly, that they come to internalize that themselves. It is a hard thankless job that someone has to do, and the difference between slight inefficient reasonable and inhumane behavior won't skew the numbers. It is hard to put a human face on ICE agents when we don't see their faces. But their job is a lot tougher than you think it is and they are our legal representatives.

Parmesan from Wisconsin?

Yes! according to Italian Professor Alberto Grandi. In 2023 he gave an interview to the Financial Times, March 22, 2023, that led to an explosion of reactions sending Italy into outrage and sparking a polemic that reached all the way to the top of the government: 'Everything I, an Italian, Thought I Knew About Italian Food is Wrong' - https://www.ft.com/content/6ac009d5-dbfd-4a86-839e-28bb44b2b64c
